NOTICE: We participate at local ANNUAL events such as the Bridal Expo and Heart of A Woman Expo which require us to be closed on the 2nd Friday & Saturday in January and in February.  We we also closed during Spring Break and two weekends in the summer months.

We require and provide ongoing advanced education for our business partners and team members and therefore it may neccessary that there are a couple days a month in which we are not able to schedule clients due to being closed on a Monday, Friday or a Saturday with little notice in order to take part in our conferences, conventions, training seminars and/or benefits for our clients or those in our surrounding communities.

We also offer our services to rehab patients and post op patients which require us to leave for emergencies at times in order to attend their wellness or post op needs. Please be patient as you may be the one we're helping one day.

Services

Since all of our services are scheduled to include personal preparatory time as well as re-dressing, late appointments must be adjusted accordingly.

Pricing

Pricing is subject to change without notice at any time deemed appropriate by Skin Essentials Wellness Spa and/or management thereof. You may occasionally find specials exclusive to our web site that are not offered in another manner providing you with additional savings.

A $35.00 - $75.00 fee is assessed for some consultations, however, this fee may be applied to the services discussed in some cases, though not all.

If you fail to show for your scheduled appointment, we will retain your non refundable deposit and additionally, your card may also be charged a minimum of $100.00 for specialty or party staffing secured for your visit.

No more than one discount may be used at one time. Multiple discounts may not be accepted.

Refunds and Gift Certificates

With time comes many changes and we face many as we strive to keep afoot with the most advanced technology and science to bring you the very best.
The construction/relocation of our facility in May 2005 was one of these major changes.
With this move, higher overhead, rising cost of advanced continued education which all of our team members regularly take advantage of, NEW TECHNOLOGY, and employee advancements, mean we must institute
occasional price increases and make obsolete various services, products and/or packages to make room for fresh enhanced menus. This being the case, certain packages, products and services do indeed become obsolete resulting in unavailability of certain services, products, packages or service combinations.

If you've received or purchased a gift certificate and it has been over one (1) year since it's purchase or it has expired, you may find that the package no longer exists, the price has increased or the team members have advanced into new positions/departments/locations etc... and are therefore unavailable for such services.

Please keep in mind that our gift certificates expire within one year from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted on them. This must be honored to keep up with our own expense fluctuations and so it is necessary to use your gift certificates within the allotted time frame or pay the difference of the increase. a. Services

1. There are no refunds allowed on individual services or service packages rendered or not.

2. Services paid for in advance will not be refunded however, in some cases you may trade the amount paid in advance for other services of equal or lesser value depending on elapsed time since purchase and type of service(s) purchased. We will do everything we can to accommodate your circumstances within the scope of reason and fairness to all involved.

3. No refunds permitted on gift cards or gift certificates, nor do these have a cash value.

4. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates which are non replaceable and non-refundable if lost or stolen.

b. Merchandise

Your satisfaction is important to us. We are a Premier Wellness Spa and as such, we have high regard for proper sanitation and your well being for they are of the utmost importance. Our cosmeceutical skin care products for face, bath and body are non refundable as are our cosmetics. They are available to test before purchase and therefore, the opportunity is there to try before you buy.  Neutraceuticals are under the same policy.

Purchasing from us demonstrates agreement with our purchasing and refund policies as they are posted here and at our facility.

Spa Packages & Body Wraps

We must receive at least a 50% non-refundable down payment 48-72 hours in advance to reserve your time slot on a package or to reserve rooms for parties, packages, and groups. You may secure your appointment for a party, package, or body wrap with a credit card which is required when scheduling multiple services, multiple guests or some of our specialized services. Pre paid or gift certificate services for multiple services may require a credit card to hold the appointment slot which will be charged according to our policy if no showed.

1. All minors will need a guardian's signature for massage, permanent hair removal, waxing, sugaring, or some alternative therapies.

2. Parties of six or more may be subject to pre-payment as well as an automatic 15% gratuity on the total service cost for each guest. 

3. Appointments may be shortened the amount of client's tardiness, with full payment due for the scheduled appointment.

4. No more than one discount may be used during a visit. Again, multiple discounts may not be combined.

NOTE: If you've received or purchased a gift certificate and it has been over one (1) year or it has expired, you may find that the package no longer exists, the price has increased or the team members have advanced into new positions/departments/locations etc... and are therefore unavailable for such services. Expired certificates may incur an extention charge.


Late Evenings or Holidays

LATE EVENING OR HOLIDAY APPOINTMENTS MAY REQUIRE CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT TO GUARANTEE TIME SLOT. THESE MAY INCUR UPCHARGE FOR OVERTIME, SUNDAY OR HOLIDAY PAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LABOR LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS.

CLIENTS FAILING TO SHOW FOR REQUESTED LATE EVENING OR HOLIDAY APPOINTMENTS ARE CHARGED A MINIMUM OF $35.00 TO COVER EMPLOYEE'S OVERTIME AND INCONVENIENCE.


Cancellations

With all due respect, it is costly to prepare products for packages and for services such as specific wraps, scrubs, and customized soaks or baths. These products in many cases must be prepared in advance and heated or immersed for several hours before usage. We specifically customize and prepare for you personally. These products have a limited life once activated and may not be used after the life of your active ingredients expires. Such services along with packages require multiple staff members and sometimes multiple rooms booked for services. Large blocks of time and multiple rooms are not as easily filled at the last minute and products undergoing preparation will have to be discarded shortly after preparation is completed if not used promptly.
These are uneccesary expenses and we cannot continue to provide exceptional service with exceptional products under such a lack of consideration.
Additionally, there are staffing requirements to accomplish these time consuming tasks.

        1. Therefore; if you provide a full 48 hour or more cancellation notice, you may reschedule without monetary penalty, however, there are no refunds of any deposits in whole or in part. Rescheduling is your only option. If you have requested Limousine service, and you fail to                 provide us with at least 48 hours notice, you agree to be charged $150.00 for Limo retainment.

        2. Without at least 24 hour cancellation notice, we maintain the right to keep your deposit for your own service(s), services scheduled and deposited by you for for someone other than yourself, a group (2 or more people) or party appointments in part or whole, up to $500.00 as a rebooking and/or restaffing fee for the wasted/unproductive time slot.

           Additionally, you may be required to put up a non-refundable deposit of 10% of your scheduled service or package, as may be                     determined by a member of our management team, to reschedule. There are no refunds! Staff schedules cannot always be accomodated or filled last minute since, in our society, most people have work and/or a family life with varied responsibilities and so they are usually balancing/working with very busy schedules. Obviously, few can impulsively schedule appointments to fill slots left unused. These policies are posted in the spa, in reception, as well as on this site and it is the client's responsibility to become familiar with our policies.

        3. Rescheduling after a no show forfeits all monies previously paid up to $500.00.  Rescheduling without meeting our cancellation policy requirements may result in an additional 10% deposit, or you may simply forfiet your previous deposit if you should choose to not reschedule within 6 months. These charges again, may cover product loss on products requiring advance preparation and the staffing for your service(s), reorder expenses on product replacement for products that were prepared but now are to be discarded in order to keep with our stringent sanitary requirements, unfilled time slots for scheduled employees, staffing expenses for your preparation and then to  discard and re-sanitize the area prepared for you, charges for additional specialty or party staff etc... and possibly even for uneccesary staff stress related to such lack of consideration! You read it here and are aware before scheduling and if you didn't read it here, it was available for you to read. Ignorance does not prevent accountability for any of us.

        4. Your scheduled appointment serves as your signature in agreement with our terms. These policies are publicly available and recommended reading.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you however, due to a lack of respect and appropriate consideration from a very few, this subject matter better serves all involved by being covered in public forum such as this site, as well as in the public eye.

Time cannot be replaced. Neither ours nor yours. We've taken the above measures to protect the rights of our loyal clientele. It only takes a timely phone call!

Lost & Found

We are not responsible for lost of stolen articles. Articles left behind for more than 15 days may be discarded.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. These are non replaceable if lost or stolen.

Sexual Harrassment

Sexual harassment, colored remarks, sexual implications, sexual suggestions,

sexual propositons, sexual requests, and/or unbecoming conduct will NOT be tolerated under

any circumstances.


Racial Bigotry

This also is entirely unacceptable in our facility.

Session(s) will be terminated, full payment will be collected, and if required, the offending client will be physically escorted out of the establishment.

Additionally, we will notify management at other facilities as well as other local professionals in the area regarding your obscene or intolerant conduct and a police report and or lawsuit may be filed in cases permitting. 
 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters. By preventing such unnacceptable behaviours in our facility, we hope to make the experience of our clientele a more pleasant one and a memory to share and enjoy.
